GUT HERMANNSBERG, 2014 RIESLING TROCKEN, NIEDERHÄUSER HERMANNSBERG ''GROSSES GEWÄCHS''
This monopoly combines strength with elegance. From the Hermannsberg, wines with great depths emerge, which often have a purist effect. Hermannsberg GGs are distinguished by complex aromas, from citrus to vegetal and floral notes. Amazingly accessible, with almost explosive minerality, the 2014 Hermannsberg shows up and still has a great potential ahead.

Score/Award

RP 91

The 2014 Niederhauser Hermannsberg Riesling GG offers a pure and very stony/flinty bouquet with ripe, bright fruit flavors and lots of crushed stones. Concentrated, juicy and powerful, this wine has lots of minerals and grip; with firm flesh on the palate, this is a rich and piquant Riesling with a tight structure, as well as good and powerful length.

 Stephan Reinhardt / 4th Mar 2016
